Spring Boot : how to fix Unsupported file format in sitemap creation

  

If you ever faced this issue in the dynamic sitemap generated?

The error says Incorrect http header content-type: "application/json;charset=UTF-8" (expected: "application/xml")

This issue was caused by not setting the header content type properly. By default HTML page will return the text/html content type. 

In my case it was 

content-type

application/xhtml+xml

you can verify this network tab in chrome and firefox,

DynamoDB Streams

A DynamoDB stream is an ordered flow of information about changes to items in a DynamoDB table.

 

When you enable a stream on a table, DynamoDB captures information about every modification to data items in the table.

 

Whenever an application creates, updates, or deletes items in the table, DynamoDB Streams writes a stream record with the primary key attributes of the items that were modified. A stream record contains information about a data modification to a single item in a DynamoDB table.

• Step Functions manages sequencing, error handling, retry logic, and state, removing a significant operational burden from your team.

 

As your applications execute, Step Functions maintains application state,

 

tracking exactly which workflow step your application is in, and stores an event log of data that is passed between application components.

That means that if networks fail or components hang, your application can pick up right where it left off.

you can run a serverless workflow on a time-based schedule.

 

Amazon CloudWatch Events provides a near real-time stream of system events that describe the changes and notifications for your AWS resources.

From this stream, you can create rules to route specific events to AWS Step Functions and invoke a state machine to perform further processing.

AWS Step Functions allows you to coordinate multiple services into serverless workflows so you can build and update automated processes quickly.

403 Forbidden static web hosting on AWS S3

I encounterd an error while making the bucket for static webhosting on AWS S3. Made the below update in the policy and it worked fine. Done on the aws console.

Substitute the bucket name example.com with your bucket name

S3 CreateBucket Error: unspecified location constraint is incompatible for the region specific endpoint

If you ever encounterd below error while creating bucket?

 

An error occurred (IllegalLocationConstraintException) when calling the CreateBucket operation: The unspecified location constraint is incompatible for the region specific endpoint this request was sent to.

 

I got this error when trying to run this command in the AWS CLI and the region specifiied is us-east-2

 

aws s3api create-bucket --bucket yourbucketname --region us-east-2

 

Solution:

 

You need to specify the location constaint for every region except us-east-1. so I have tried the below command and it worked. Here I specified the location constraint.

 

aws s3api create-bucket --bucket yourbucketname --region us-east-2 --create-bucket-configuration LocationConstraint=us-east-2

 

This worked!
